Simbithi
Simbithi Eco Estate is a nature reserve and golf estate in Kwazulu-Natal. The estate is located on the north coast of KwaZulu-Natal, between Ballito and Umhlanga. The name Simbithi means "a place of many trees" in Zulu.
Simbithi Eco Estate comprises over 1000 hectares of indigenous vegetation, wetlands, forests, mountains and valleys. It is home to over 200 species of birds, and many small animals including duikers, mongooses, vervet monkeys and tortoises.
The estate has a shopping centre, a sports club and a golf course. There are also numerous walking and mountain biking trails.
